Getting to us from Luton

Just over twelve miles, about twenty-five minutes by car. Out past the airport on the A1081, down the M1 to junction 8, then the A414 into Hemel. Whichever way you come, the last stretch is a run of roundabouts along St Albans Road into the town centre. Girls come to us from Luton town centre, Stopsley, Leagrave, Farley Hill, Round Green, Limbury, Challney, Sundon Park, Bramingham and Barton Hills, as well as from Harpenden, Redbourn, Markyate, Caddington and Kensworth.

There is no direct train. Luton to Hemel Hempstead needs two changes, so driving is far simpler.

Schools we work with in Luton

The secondary schools in Luton whose girls we would like to hear from:

  • Al-Hikmah Secondary School (Bury Park Educational Institute)
  • Cardinal Newman Catholic School
  • Challney High School for Girls
  • Chiltern Academy
  • Denbigh High School
  • Icknield High School
  • King’s House Moorlands
  • Lea Manor High School
  • Lealands High School
  • Putteridge High School
  • Queen Elizabeth School
  • Stopsley High School
  • The Chalk Hills Academy
  • The Stockwood Park Academy

Come and lock your dress for prom night. We sell each style to only one girl at each school. Once a style is registered to your school it is closed to everyone else there, which is why the girls who come early have the most to choose from.

Every year we look for Prom Ambassadors — girls in Year 11 and Year 13 who love the whole business of getting ready and want to be part of ours. Applications for 2027 are open now, and we would be delighted to hear from girls at any of the schools named on this page. Apply to be a Prom Ambassador.

What girls in Luton are choosing

Across the register navy leads, then royal blue, wine, black and red. The girls who stand out most in the group photographs are the ones choosing yellow, emerald, champagne and teal — when the hall goes dark, going light is the stronger move.

Doing it in one visit

Plenty of girls do the whole thing in a single visit. They arrive knowing roughly what they are looking for, try on a handful and choose on the day. Where it suits, we can also look at sending the dress to you by secure courier rather than you making the journey back for it — it is worth asking your stylist about at the fitting. Alterations would then be arranged locally.

The 2027 collection

Hundreds of exclusive styles, sizes 4XS to 14W, from £199. Ball gowns, fitted and mermaid, A-line, sequin and embellished, satin and couture — none of it on the high street, and never sold twice into the same school.

Questions we are asked by Luton families

Is it worth the drive?

We think so, because a dress bought locally can be bought again by a classmate. Ours is registered to her school the day she chooses it, and we will not sell that style to anyone else there.

Do you see girls from Bedfordshire schools as well as Luton ones?

Yes. Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Leighton Buzzard, Ampthill and the villages around them are all regular. Every school has its own register, wherever it sits.

What holds the dress?

A £99 deposit. The balance can be spread over interest-free instalments, finished before she collects the dress.
