Our Flagship UK store is in Hemel Hempstead where YOUR Personal Stylist will take you through a collection of beautiful prom dresses to choose from. Our address is 7 Riverside, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1BT.
We advise booking an appointment to ensure a fitting room and personal stylist are available to assist you. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability may be limited.
We’re so excited to be part of your prom journey! At Proms & Beyond, we love to make a fuss over you and give you the attention you deserve to find your perfect dress — and that’s why we run by appointment only.
Because it’s a big moment (and often includes dress registration, sizing, and payments), a parent or legal guardian is required to both make and attend your appointment.
You’re welcome to bring a friend for support — but if she wants to try on dresses too:
- She’ll need to bring her own parent or guardian
- She must have her own separate appointment
This helps us make sure every girl gets her moment — uninterrupted, special, and totally focused on her.
Yes there is lots of parking nearby. The closest car park is Moor End Car park, Leighton Buzzard Road, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1BT.
Yes, we won’t sell the same dress to the same school, not even in a different colour!
We do not offer alteration service on site but can recommend a few local alteration services.
Yes if your sister or friend buys a dress from us – they get an extra 5% off on top of any other promotions that maybe running.
If collected in-store, you are welcome to try on your dress at the time of collection. If you choose not to accept it, we’ll cancel your order and issue a refund. Once accepted and taken away, the sale is considered completed in-store and online cancellation rights no longer apply.
We carry sizes 2 to 20, but not all dresses are available in every size. Availability can vary by style and designer. While we may not have every size or style in store, we’re happy to take your measurements and place a special order for you if needed.
Yes! Customers who book mid-week appointments on Wednesdays or Thursdays receive 5% off their dress purchase (excluding term holidays).
We also have a year-round sale rail, with select dresses starting from just £99 — perfect for finding a beautiful dress at a great price!
We will try our best to accommodate your request and check if it is possible.
While not available for all dresses, we do offer custom sizes and colours for select styles. Please allow around 3 months for delivery, and keep in mind that additional costs may apply. Simply let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll do our very best to make it happen! Book and appointment for further information. (hyperlink book appt to appts page)
We will always make sure that dress has no defect when we you take its delivery . But if you still find a defect please bring back the dress to us and after examination that the dress has not been worn or mishandled we will offer you a replacement dress in same style and colour.
We have styles ready to be sold from shop floor which we add dresses to regularly. We also take orders and book in dresses for delivery. Delivery times will be conveyed at the time of the booking.

Yes we have beautiful fitting rooms as well as one wheelchair friendly changing room.
- Yes! You can reserve your dress with a £99 deposit (in-store only) and pay the remaining balance in interest-free monthly instalments or in full when collecting your dress.
Please note:
The remaining balance must be paid in full before collection.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Our payment plan makes it easier to secure your dream dress while spreading the cost over time.
£10 fully refundable booking fee.
We take a small fee to reserve your stylist and fitting room. It’s refunded when you attend your appointment—whether you buy or not.
Cancellations/Reschedules: Please give 48 hours’ notice. Missed or late-notice cancellations may forfeit the fee.

How do I return my order?
We offer two separate return policies depending on how you made your purchase:
In-Store Purchases: Items bought in-store are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty. Please check your receipt or contact our customer service team for specific store return policies.
Online Orders: If you ordered online, you have the right to cancel your order and return your items within 14 days of receiving them, in accordance with UK consumer law. To initiate a return, please complete the return form included with your package, making sure to provide all requested details such as your order number and reason for return. Carefully reseal your items in the original packaging or a suitable box, attach the provided shipping label, and send the package back via post or courier as soon as possible. Any custom orders taken via online or email are also non-refundable.
To be eligible for a refund, all items must be unworn, with original tags attached, and free from makeup, perfume, or any other marks or damage. Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund.
Important: Some items may be excluded from returns due to hygiene or safety. These items will be clearly marked as non-returnable at the point of purchase.

Once we have received the order return, the refund will be processed within 14 business days.

What is your deposit and refund policy?
Once you have tried on a dress in-store and paid a deposit, your order is confirmed and passed on to our suppliers. At this stage, the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable, as the dress is being reserved or made specifically for you.
Please note that this policy applies to in-store purchases only, where the item has been physically tried on.
Online orders are governed by different regulations under UK consumer law. As the item has not been tried on, customers are entitled to a 14-day return period from the date of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original, unworn condition with all tags attached.
As soon as your order is shipped we will send you a track & trace code by mail. This way you can track your order.
Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours before the track & trace is available. Can't track your package after 48h? Please send us an email to mail@promsandbeyond.com and we will contact the shipping company.
