Getting to us from Harrow

Just under eighteen miles, around forty minutes by car: north out of Harrow on the A41, onto the M1 to junction 8, then the A414 into Hemel. Whichever way you come, the last stretch is a run of roundabouts along St Albans Road into the town centre. Girls come to us from Harrow-on-the-Hill, Wealdstone, Pinner, North Harrow, South Harrow, Rayners Lane, Kenton, Stanmore and Edgware.

There is also a direct train. Harrow & Wealdstone to Hemel Hempstead runs on the West Coast Main Line with London Northwestern Railway. Hemel Hempstead station is on London Road in Boxmoor, a little over a mile from the boutique — a short walk, bus or taxi ride.

Schools we work with in Harrow

The secondary schools in Harrow whose girls we would like to hear from:

  • Avanti House School
  • Bentley Wood High School
  • Canons High School
  • Harrow High School
  • Hatch End High School
  • North London Collegiate School
  • Nower Hill High School
  • Park High School
  • Pinner High School
  • Rooks Heath School
  • The John Lyon School
  • The Sacred Heart Language College
  • Whitefriars School
  • Whitmore High School

Come and lock your dress for prom night. We sell each style to only one girl at each school. Once a style is registered to your school it is closed to everyone else there, which is why the girls who come early have the most to choose from.

Every year we look for Prom Ambassadors — girls in Year 11 and Year 13 who love the whole business of getting ready and want to be part of ours. Applications for 2027 are open now, and we would be delighted to hear from girls at any of the schools named on this page. Apply to be a Prom Ambassador.

What girls in Harrow are choosing

Navy leads across the register, followed by royal blue, wine, black and red. The girls who are remembered in the photographs tend to be the ones who went the other way — yellow, emerald, champagne, teal.

Doing it in one visit

Plenty of girls do the whole thing in a single visit. They arrive knowing roughly what they are looking for, try on a handful and choose on the day. Where it suits, we can also look at sending the dress to you by secure courier rather than you making the journey back for it — it is worth asking your stylist about at the fitting. Alterations would then be arranged locally.

The 2027 collection

Hundreds of exclusive styles, sizes 4XS to 14W, from £199. Ball gowns, fitted and mermaid, A-line, sequin and embellished, satin and couture — and an hour with a stylist to yourself, which a Saturday on Oxford Street does not offer.

Questions we are asked by Harrow families

Why come out of London?

Because we register every dress to a school and will not sell the same style twice into it. The girl standing next to your daughter at prom will not be wearing a dress she bought from us.

Can she come on the train?

Yes, and it is one of the easiest journeys we have: Harrow & Wealdstone to Hemel Hempstead is direct. The station is a little over a mile from us — a short walk, bus or taxi.

Does my daughter’s school have its own register?

Yes. Every Harrow school on this page is held separately, so a dress registered at one has no bearing on another. The earlier in the season she comes, the wider the choice.

What does it cost to hold a dress?

£99 holds it. The balance can go on interest-free instalments, completed before collection.
