1. Introduction
Welcome to Proms & Beyond. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services, including the purchase of prom dresses, accessories, and related items from our flagship store. By engaging with our services or making a purchase, you agree to comply with these terms.


2. Store Information

3. Appointments & Store Visits

  • Customers must book an online appointment before visiting the store to ensure personalized service with a dedicated stylist.
  • All customers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • A friend may accompany the customer but can only try on dresses if their parent is also present.
  • Fitting rooms, including a wheelchair-friendly changing room, are available.

4. Dress Exclusivity Policy

  • Each dress purchased is exclusive to the customer’s school.
  • Proms & Beyond will not sell the same dress in any colour to another student from the same school.
  • All sale dresses are excluded from this policy

5. Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made in-store via Card, Secure Online Payment Link, or Cash.
  • A 50% deposit of the dress price is required at the time of purchase to secure the dress.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before collection. Full payment is required for accessories at the time of purchase.

6. Returns & Exchanges

  • Due to the custom nature of our prom dresses, all dress sales are final, and refunds or exchanges are not offered.
  • Accessories such as clutch bags and jewellery purchased in-store can be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are unworn, in perfect condition, and in the original packaging.

7. Faulty Items

  • Dresses are thoroughly inspected before collection. However, if a defect is found, customers must return the item to the store for an exchange of the same style and colour after verification that it has not been worn or mishandled.
  • Faulty accessories must be reported within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase for exchange.
  • Items damaged due to general wear and tear or failure to follow care instructions will not be classified as faulty.

8. Alteration Services

  • Proms & Beyond does not offer in-store alteration services but can provide recommendations for local tailoring services.

9. Promotions & Loyalty Rewards

  • First 100 customers receive a 10% discount.
  • Customers bringing a flyer receive a 10% discount.
  • If a sister or friend purchases a dress from Proms & Beyond, they will receive an extra 5% discount on top of other promotions.

10. Product Availability

  • Products are available while stocks last.
  • Inventory is updated every 8-10 weeks, and we will do our best to accommodate requests for specific styles or colours.
  • In the unlikely event a dress is not available after selection, customers will be notified immediately, and any payment made will be refunded.

11. Care Instructions

  • Dresses and accessories should be kept away from lotions, perfumes, oils, and chemicals.
  • Jewellery should be removed before showering or heavy exercise to prevent tarnishing.
  • Accessories should be stored away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Customers with metal allergies should take caution when wearing jewellery for extended periods, as Proms & Beyond cannot guarantee hypoallergenic properties.
  • By agreeing to these terms, customers accept that any allergic reaction to jewellery is at their own risk, and refunds will not be issued.

12. Holiday Care & Travel Precautions

  • Jewellery should be kept away from sun cream, after-sun lotion, chlorinated pools, and seawater.

13. Acceptance of Orders

  • By selecting and purchasing a dress in-store, customers are entering into a sales agreement. Proms & Beyond reserves the right to refuse a sale under the following circumstances:
    • Items are out of stock.
    • Pricing or description errors in-store.
    • Reason to believe the customer is involved in fraudulent or criminal activities.
    • Reason to believe you are not purchasing for personal use but for commercial resale.

14. Liability

  • Proms & Beyond is not responsible for:
    • Any damage caused by failure to follow care instructions.
    • Any allergic reactions to jewellery or clothing materials.
    • Delays in the availability of items due to unforeseen supply chain issues.

15. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

  • Proms & Beyond reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • Customers will be notified of any significant changes via our website or in-store notices.
